Dear Activists:

Had Janet Reno, as Attorney General, really looked into this Stolen Election, Bushit's '1000 points of darkness' of warring on the American People and isolating the U.S. to the rest of the world might have been avoided.

Reno says how much she 'loves' Florida. But, had her love for America meant anything, then we would have seen as much effort into investigating this election fraud as was given to the Monica Lewinsky affair. We have been lambasted nationally and internationally, as a scapegoat, while the rest of the nation conveniently ignores that this election was stolen and we have an illegitimate resident in our White House. It will get infinately worse as a result of this political charade by Janet who didn't do what she had both the legal and moral authority to do. She now wants us all to forget her role in this horror in her bid for Gov.

I'd like to remind Janet that had she done what is the right thing here, I wouldn't be running against her and she would automatically be the next Gov., by showing her real integrity. But she thinks that "Elian Gonzalez" will be her ticket to victory. But doing her disastrous betrayal and keeping quiet, then and now, on the one issue that can defeat Jeb with,is why I'm going to get the grassroots protest vote.

I want to shout it loudly to the nation and the world that we want a federal investigation, impeachment of the US Supreme Extremists, and jail time for the conspirators, not only for justice, but to prevent the next stolen election as well. And did I mention the media cover-up of all of this?

Others on Reno

Jeannine says:

I am a Democrat, albeit a very reluctant one as of late.  In the past I always supported Janet Reno.  I felt she tried to do what she thought best as U.S. Attorney General.  Yes she made some questionable decisions, but I always thought she tried hard to do what was right.  That is until the Presidential election in 2000.  Why I can’t support Janet Reno is because of her decision not to send a Special Prosecutor in to investigate what went on in Florida during the election and recount period.

By any stretch of the imagination there was ample evidence to warrant an investigation during the time Reno was still Attorney General.  For example; the felons list, African Americans facing police blockades while attempting to get to the polls, absentee ballot tampering by Republicans, Jeb Bush sending out letters to Republican voters on State letterhead, 2500 voter fraud complaints given to the Florida Attorney General, 30,000 affidavits received by the Democratic party and the Rent-A-Mob intimidation fiasco, among other things.

Ms. Reno had to know that she was the last hope to set an investigation in motion, for once the Republicans took power they would never do anything to jeopardize their hold on it.  What I can’t quite understand is why Reno sent Ken Starr in to spend millions investigating a lie about a private, consensual sexual affair in a Civil case, and yet did not think that people being illegally stopped from voting in a national election was worthy of the same treatment.

To make matters worse, Ms. Reno won’t even acknowledge the election issue.  I personally went to see her speak in Broward County several months ago where she was asked by 2 people (Bob Kunst among them) about the election and why nothing has been done to investigate.  She did not only refuse to answer the question, but she refused to acknowledge that anyone was even asking.  I have this all on tape and I recently watched it again.  It left me feeling very depressed.  It is sad to watch how she averts her gaze and walks away the minute she realizes the subject matter.

I am sure Janet Reno is a very good person.  I am sure she is a capable, caring and intelligent person.  If this was 1 year ago, I would be supporting her wholeheartedly.  However, things have changed and I cannot support anyone for public office who won’t acknowledge that an investigation needs to be made into the 2000 election in Florida.  I especially can’t support someone who had the opportunity to do something about this very issue and who chose not to, perhaps out of fear of the right wing.

What Florida needs is someone who is not afraid to stand up for what is right.  We need someone who can’t be bullied by the other side.  I would include Lois Frankel in the category of someone who is afraid.  I saw her on Hardball the other night and she repeatedly sidestepped the issue of Jeb Bush’s involvement in the Florida election.  She looked liked the usual politician afraid to say what they really believe.  I want someone in office who speaks the truth.  There have already been enough lies and deceptions.

The only candidate speaking the truth, without fear, is Bob Kunst.  Many people feel that he doesn’t have a chance and therefore aren’t supporting him.  I believe the only way to stop the “status-quo” and to stop the “business as usual” that has caused this national crisis is to open the wound and clean it out.  We need someone who has honesty and integrity.  We need someone who will stand up for the disenfranchised in this state.  I am supporting Bob Kunst because he is that person.  He doesn’t make excuses or pander to anyone.  I’m voting my conscience in the Democratic primary and voting for Bob Kunst!  I hope you will do the same.

William says:

I am also a Democrat, but my patience with Reno expired several years ago. I do not agree that she is a caring person trying to do the right thing, and I suspect enough people agree with me so that if she runs against Jeb Bush, that will guarantee his reelection.

Her handling of the Waco situation should have resulted in her resignation, or her firing by Clinton. About 80 persons, almost all of them entirely innocent of any wrong-doing, were killed by the US government under her direction. Proper handling of the situation would have resulted in the arrest of a few Dravidians on their frequent visits to town. A military assault to arrest people accused of fairly minor crimes was entirely unwarranted. The Oklahoma bombing was a direct result of her misdeeds at Waco. No intelligent Democrat can vote for her.
